Product: Walnut Bentwood Ring

My rings are handcrafted using "bentwood" techniques to heat or steam the wood to allow it to be bent. I make my own wood veneers used in the manufacture of my rings.
When you purchase a wood ring, be sure to ask who made the ring. Was it an artisan who takes the time to make the rings himself/herself? If the seller didn’t make the ring, it was likely a mass produced “drilled” ring which can be quickly produced without attention to craftsmanship and detail. A bentwood ring is extremely durable and far stronger than a drilled ring where a hole is simply bored through a piece of wood. Drilled rings are cheaply made and tend to be weak and susceptible to breakage.
If you have an idea for a custom ring design, need a special size or specific wood(s), please don’t hesitate to ask. Rings are available with brass, copper, stainless steel or celluloid cores. If you are uncertain of your ring size, I can send a ring sizer to help you determine the correct size or you may visit a jeweler to help determine your ring size. Please measure carefully, as custom orders are non-refundable. Rings that need to be remade will incur additional charges. If for whatever reason your ring does not fit when you receive it, I will resize it for free. Just contact me within 30 days of receipt.
Although your ring is made from wood, it is okay to get your ring wet from time to time such as washing your hands or bathing. If your hands are going to be submerged in water for extended periods, or when engaging in activities where the ring could be scratched, it is best to remove it.
